Hier ist Alex!

Some time ago I was beatten into promising Alex Kogler (of whom more later) into giving her a mention on my homepage as soon as I had it all up and running. Now, this isn’t exactly an instant response, but since I’ve already given my wumon a mention already I reckon it’s now safe enough to give Alex a big shout out!
I met Alex in Australia (in Melbourne, to be exact) and she was over a few months ago for a week. That’s when these photos are from, on Bray Head; a walk I can thoroughly recommend for a nice day.

[...] Here it is. My first ‘Kev is off somewhere, I suppose you could even call it travelling’ post, all the way from sunny Vienna (or Wien, as the locals call it). I’m enjoying it. The weather is good, the locals are… Well, they’re Austrian, so I don’t know how I should quantify that. Arnold Schwartzenegger is Austrian, I was here before and had some decidedly mixed feelings about Vienna (beautiful architecture and a clear sense of history, set against what can only be described as generous helpings of arrogance.)´and of course there is Mozart. So far the weather has been great, Alex (who I am visiting here, she used to live in Graz but has since moved here to get a job, and hopefully I will catch up with Filip too, of whom more later) has managed to buy carpets and whatnot for her apartment, and we have seen all manner of stuff about town.
